For the graduating classes of
2010 and 2011
College Prep
English 4 units
Math 4 units
Science 3 units
Social Studies 3 units
Foreign Language 2 units
(must be 2 units of same language)
Personal Fitness .5 unit
Health .5 unit
Computer, Vocational and/or
Fine Arts Electives or 3rd
Year of Foreign Language 1 unit
Electives 4 units
TOTAL 22 units
A Career/Technical Seal of Endorsement will be added to the diploma if 4 units of elective courses are taken in the Career/Technical (Vocational) area.
A Fine Arts Seal of Endorsement will be added to the diploma if 4 units of elective courses are taken in the Fine Arts area.
Students wishing to earn the College Prep with Distinction diploma must complete all requirements for the college prep diploma and earn a total of 24 units with a GPA in the core courses of 80 or above. The additional two units must be academic or fine arts electives.
Students must pass each of the five parts of the Georgia High School Graduation Test.
